I made these this past weekend!! They were such I hit I then made them again for different friends on Monday, where they were again a hit!

this is maybe trite at this point but it is in your interest to find ways to create things. basically everyone wants you to be consuming nonstop. making stuff, from cooking to photography or whatever, can help you feel more in control. doesn’t even have to be something you share with other people

So she reported them to the city, resulting in a stop work order. She then proceeded to call in violations every time they attempted to begin work again for the rest of the year. I'm pretty sure this means she is a super-extra lawyer now. Or that the bar was experimenting with a hands-on approach.

My wife passed what I consider the extra bar exam-- she was taking it at home in 2020 and midway through the first day she had to use her break to go ask some construction workers to be less loud. When they were rude to her, she went home and found out that the construction was not permitted.

Interesting! This had never occured to me as something I could do at home, for some reason. Where did you learn?

For some reason I thought it was referencing Octavia Butler and that we were aiming for some sort of “Parable of the Sower” situation? I guess if you think about it for more than five seconds it makes absolutely no sense.

Guess I'll just... start growing flax?
