A few months ago we introduced a new monthly team meeting: Charts & Drinks.
Yesterday's edition was a mix of showing vacation pictures and geo guessing. Including a quiz interface built by ChatGPT, a felt map as collaborative tool and an unbeatable AI bot built by @atack.bsky.social. So much fun!
Did I miss the memo? Aren't we still calling ourselves like that?

Cool bleiben bei Katastrophen News Alle machen Fehler Ganz plötzlich passiert ein Unglück, ein Amoklauf oder ein Terroranschlag - dann berichten Medien in der Hektik manchmal Dinge, die sich später als falsch herausstellen und korrigiert werden. Krass, wer sagt das? Sei misstrauisch, wenn du die Quelle einer Information nicht kennst oder nicht weißt, wer wirklich hinter einem Social-Media-Profil steckt. Querlesen hilft Vergleiche die Berichte von zwei oder mehr Medien, die du kennst und denen du vertraust. Also z. B. Radio- oder TV-Sender, Zeitungen oder Nachrichtenseiten im Internet.
Sprache beachten Vertrauenswürdige Medien machen klar, woher sie eine Info haben und wie sicher sie ist. Vorsichtige Formulierungen deuten darauf hin, dass etwas noch nicht so klar ist. Exklusivmeldung und stille Post Medien berichten, dass andere Medien etwas melden? Meist heißt das, dass eine Zeitung in der Sache mehr weiß als alle anderen. Doch sie kann auch irren. Und es kommt auch vor, dass andere Medien beim Weitergeben wichtige Details vergessen. Wer ist vor Ort + kennt sich aus? Was sagen die Medien am Ort des Geschehens, die Zeitung der Stadt oder der Radiosender aus der Region? Doch auch wer als erster da war, hat nicht sofort Antworten auf alle Fragen. Noch mehr gilt dies für Experten, die im TV-Studio sitzen.
Schnell, aber immer verlässlich? Bei Insta, YouTube oder TikTok gibt es schon viel mehr Infos als in der Nachrichten-App? Kann sein. Augenzeugen-Berichte findest du dort schnell. Ob die stimmen, hat dann aber niemand geprüft. Noch mehr Opfer, noch mehr Täter? Dramatische Ereignisse locken Fälscher und Wichtigtuer an. Andere Menschen teilen Gerüchte, Fakes und Falschinformationen, weil sie Angst haben und es nicht besser wissen. Denke daran, wenn du dich über ein Video aufregst, es likest oder teilst. Besondere Vorsicht bei Bildern Fotos und Videos von Opfern oder Verdächtigen zu teilen, ist meistens eine schlechte Idee. Was wäre, wenn die gezeigte Person es gar nicht ist? Wie fühlt sich deren Familie? Und Bilder von laufenden Polizeieinsätzen im Netz können womöglich Täter warnen. Eilmeldung!!! Cool bleiben bei Katastrophen-News Pr:TAPD
