Recalibrating to a new path at any point in life is a choice that signs you up for an enormous amount of invisible labor. Creating new collective paradigms is a whole new level, but it's still fundamentally one step followed by another. One moment choosing integrity as a value-compass after another.

2) I'll acquiesce to the fascism (reasons for this one vary: cowardice, access, denial, misguidedly thinking that acquiescence is savvy, etc)

3) I oppose the fascism

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida.

If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.
