There's again a fundamental asymmetry here. The right never protests pols on the right but they relentlessly protested Obama (and there's Jan 6).

The left is more likely to apply the logic below (protests and labor action). It's not a great PR dynamic for low info voters.

It has been the honor of my life to serve as Commissioner of BLS alongside the many dedicated civil servants tasked with measuring a vast and dynamic economy. It is vital and important work and I thank them for their service to this nation.

Yet again, my 3 year old is braver (and more rational) than a white adult male Senator. It should be shamefully embarrassing to say anything like this in public.

Also, the fact is that only the majority house party can/will impeach. Dems did it twice!

And, of course, you also need a supermajority in the senate to convict.
