They are also pretty expensive as they need to be purebread to be hypoallergenic but they are beautiful wonderful cats. Many catteries will also send you a small fur clipping to make sure you're actually not allergic.

Siberian cats are very floofy and hypo-allergenic for most people (like 85%) who are allergic to cats. Its not the fur but an enzyme they secrete in their salvia that they lick all over themselves while grooming. I am allergic to cats and had a Siberian for 15 years without problem.

That movie played every night for six months in my hometown of 50,000 people. I cannot fathom how that was possible, other than that many people say it multiple times in theater. I remain steadfast in my refusal to ever let that movie be cast upon my eyeballs.
