The Challenger shuttle disaster that killed 7 crew members was 40 years ago. What happened and how they're being remembered. The diverse 7-member crew included a teacher who was going to teach lessons from space.

Forty years ago, today, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in mid air after being launched, killing all 7 crew members; one was a school teacher. It was a sad day for space travel & history.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the 'hero term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you

I’m sorry this harsh reality was sugar coated for you. A disservice for sure. My dad was a Vietnam Vet. He knew better and he didn’t believe in sugar coating. No people in power are good and just. Especially when there’s money involved. None.

Let me be clear, this is 100% something you should be angry about. Injustice should make us mad.
