I actually thought it would be way bigger. Like huuuuuuuuuuge.

It has come to my attention that, if I put the teeniest tiniest bit of effort into improving my appearance and attire at work, people pay more attention to my suggestions. It gives me no pleasure to report this.

Me (speaking to a manager, dressed like a slob): We need to do this my way.
Manager: You're being insubordinate.

Me (speaking to a manager, dressed in a suit and open-collar shirt like an antagonist in a Michael Mann movie): We need to do this my way.
Manager: You have saved the company.

Me (in a wrinkled shirt and khakis I plucked off a pile on the floor, speaking to a new employee): That didn't work. Try it this way.
Them: IDK dude, maybe?

Me (wrinkle-free shirt, clean khakis): That didn't work. Try it this way.
Them: Yes, sir! I will never make that mistake again.
