An image of a really ordinary chair that definitely doesn't give off spooky vibes at all. It is high backed, brown and carved from wood. It has fancy legs, armrests and a spindly back. It is understated ostentation if that makes any sense. It is in a museum surrounded by display boards. The boards are on easels and you can't see it in the photo but they are all about the end of WW2.
I promised our Collections Team that I wouldn't refer to this as 'the spooky chair' on socials. With that in mind, come and see A COMPLETELY NORMAL CHAIR (once owned by the commandant of WW2 POW camps in Hong Kong) in our new temporary exhibition honouring #VEDay and #VJDay #CompletelyNormalChair
