Gage Heyes scored in double overtime to give Kingston a 2-0 series lead going into game three in Sudbury.

North Bay And Barrie Swap Players In Blockbuster Trade The mutually beneficial trade sent experienced players to Barrie in exchange for draft capital and a former first-round pick.

As a result of the trade with North Bay, Barrie can reunite Wakely, Romani and Van Steensel who scored a combined 301 points for NB last season.

The story of this game is the penalties. Three of four US goals came on the PP. The time shorthanded broke Canada’s momentum in the second and third periods.

After the first Canada was the better team 5v5 but they didn’t spend much time at even strength.

Former Sudbury Wolves Forward Scores Twice in Slovakia's OT Win Against Kazakhstan Team Slovakia captain Dalibor Dvorsky scored a pair of goals and a pair of assists in today's OT win against Kazakhstan.

The four points scored by former Sudbury Wolves forward Dalibor Dvorsky means he now has 18 points in 18 games at the #WorldJuniors. Wild to think this is his fourth WJC.

I’m reposting this because Mews is now the highest-scoring D-man in the #OHL

The average shooting percentage across the #WorldJuniors is 10.5%. If Canada had even average shooting percentage they would have 14 goals.

They lead the tournament in shots on goal (134) averaging 44 shots per game.

Zidlicky and Jiricek Pick Up Points Helping Czechia Remain Undefeated At World Junior Championship Two of the three OHL players on Team Czechia had points in the win over Slovakia earlier today.

Czechia is still undefeated after taking down Slovakia earlier today. A couple of #OHL players picked up their first points in the tournament during the game.

The flip side is, they have yet to allow a goal against at even strength and lead the tournament with 3 goals against in 3 games.
