A beautiful vacation day morning with my baby! We read two indigenous author/artist board books from the public library. Alan Syliboy will be here for www.sappyfest.com and I 💚 www.royhenryvickers.com having visited his gorgeous gallery in Tofino, BC and spent my own childhood in Northern BC.

My grandparents were so fantastic. (Not pictured Jack Griffin.) Pictures are in 2009 when I was pregnant with my second son Ferguson. At the time I co-hosted a show on the local radio station with my Grandmother Eunice Griffin. That Autumn Katie and Ernie B. were also able to visit us in NB.

📝 of love and beauty in my last week: May the 4th celebrated in Heathrow Airport & at upper Sackville united church, a superb podcast, even though I rarely dig premade store bought soups, this brand really made my soul happy aaaah (apparently using imperfect produce and other goodly Ambitions).

On Monday, as an ally I recognized red dress day by telling others and wearing red.

I looked that day for meaningful posts, today this found me❤️

I was part of a study group on non-violent communication at a yoga studio locally about 11 years ago. It was a brief time of community and we all read the book from different viewpoints. I refer back to the principles often and really think the whole book and many other resources on nvc are worthy❤️

Yes watched the breach media’s last 30 min of their show tonight and that was a big topic! It’s unfortunate that the Canadian right is so powerful in the moment. We will have to wait and watch for further fracturing of the right, plus a better system than past the post voting would be nice.
