When the world is bleak, we may want to hide-- but we can stand bold against the coming storm if only we try.

You're wrong about everything but in particular I wanna point out that historically "women's only" sporting divisions were created after women destroyed men at a sport, see: Jackie Mitchell who had her MLB contract ended the day after she struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gherig.

Reminder to everyone that sex testing in sports was instituted by the literal nazi fucking party in order to control women's bodies. The whole "legitimate concerns" business is a way of whitewashing nazi ideology.

Like we actually have no idea what the top performing women in athletics could do because:

We discourage women from participation in "men's activities" from birth
Women in sports don't get paid or treated as well as men, so a lot of them quit before "peaking"
etc

Because the same state power that was used to enforce mandatory vaccination also did a lot of harm and misery with unethical medical experimentation, forced sterilization, etc. Definitely a case of "the tools will be used for evil even if they can also be used for good" ya know?

Smallpox was partially eradicated through forced vaccination. Clearly too heavy handed a strategy, and yet result is undeniably good, one of the deadliest human diseases gone. Would love to hear thoughts on how to get stuff like widespread vaccination in a sense of force.

One thing I struggle with is "how do you get people to do things they don't want to do for the public good?" Most recently this is about vaccines. So many people are anti-vax and idk how to convince them to voluntarily get vaccinated. Compulsory vaccines to go to school doesn't work anymore...
