We got like way more people than that don't we?
DON'T STOP CALLING.
email them if you want, sure, but the fact that they are requesting people to *email them instead* (presumably because emails are much easier to ignore) means that the calls are WORKING, i.e. becoming a massive nuisance and interrupting workflow.
once again, DON'T STOP CALLING.
PLEASE put pressure in stripe if you feel safe doing so. they're absolutely fucking awful.

All really positive. So happy to see.

Itch and Steam got a bunch of us thinking; we need a catalogue where creative (esp. NSFW & Queer) works are less vulnerable to censorship. A storefront we won't be delisted from. One giving us the autonomy to sell our stuff our way. So we're making Conjured Ink. You can join us. https://conjured.ink

A bunny stands on the platform in the back of a traincar, as the train goes across the surface of a sea or ocean, the tracks visible just underneath the water. There are some fish next to the train, traveling in the opposite direction. It is dark out.

Dieselbrain @dieselbrain.bsky.social Follow the number below doesnt work, as Stripe has changed their number, and is demanding a $2.99 fee to even tell you what it is. however, this number DOES still work and will let you leave a message: (877) 887-7815
Welcome to the weekend! You made it sailor. Which censorious payment processor would you like to call first? Thanks to my moot @dieselbrain.bsky.social for the Stripe number, can confirm it works

Ok I just called Visa since that's my card issuer.
1. Played dumb with frontline customer support ("why can't I buy my friends game on Steam / Itch"). They tried to dump me to email but I escalated to a supervisor.
2. Played smart with the supervisor, and caught them in a lie... 👇
Currently on the phone with Visa
Instead of starting with a complaint, I approached this as a Confused American Consumer who doesn't understand why they can't buy things off a website they use
The call center rep immediately asked if it was about Steam/itch
