Well, Collector's Vault Volume 2 got announced so I better get going to update this now.

And here it is, the entire series on Blu-ray. Can't wait to finally get into it.

From this point forward I will be using the above account for inquiries related to the website. This will now be main personal account for about anything else not related to the website from this point forward.

So far, news about the website is going to come on this profile in the meantime, but some other WIP is stabilizing the calculator a bit and an external blog. Their ETA are unknown, but this has been a very large passion project and I can't believe it's finally done!

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: I am proud to finally announce that the website I was working on, the Looney Tunes Restoration Guide, has officially launched!

With some basic info on each of the shorts and home media releases, a calculator, and more to be added in the near future!

All of the home media pages, including Warner Archive Collection list, has been completed. Just cleaning up a few home media pages then finding a webhost.

MAJOR PROJECT UPDATE: The calculator for shorts is almost finished and basic functionality has been completed. Here is a video of it in action!

Intended to be added in the final release is a progress bar on completion for home media shorts, and more improved CSS.

Also, all home media pages are now complete, at least for their boilerplate templates that includes what shorts they have; the descriptions and images are what's left. A lot of the big VHS/LaserDisc series are already done.

Progress report after a while. Navigation has got a major overhaul, and more notably I've began work on the calculator to determine how much your library is to completion.

The backend is done; I demonstrate it loading and killing the backend server to show an error.

Several days later and all of the DVD releases are finally finished!

Onwards to LaserDisc and VHS; it would also be helpful if there are high-quality scans of the latter two formats.

Just for fun and also for visualization purposes, I made a tier list on how likely each short would make it on future volumes of Collector's Vault, disc 1 and disc 2 separate.

Anything below "last and least" for disc 1 is mostly stuff that is primarily up to WAC's approval.

DVD releases should be done having their pages and only LaserDisc and VHS are left for the part that takes the longest.

List of home media releases, sorted by their collector recommendation score. A more descriptive guide will probably be helpful, but it at least shows which ones you should avoid.

It's been a while; here's another progress report. With an automatically generated collector's score, it is now easier to determine which sets are the best to obtain and it even fluctuates as later sets releases. The higher the score, the better.

Ironically more expensive than the Blu-ray version while still in SD.

* In total, only 5 of Bugs' shorts are yet to be restored
* I didn't include cameos where Bugs doesn't physically appear nor any of the Snafu shorts. Snafu shorts are still out of scope and I highly doubt WAC/WHV has any interest in officially restoring them

Notes:
* Collector's Vault hasn't been added yet; I'll likely await until review copies comes out before this gets updated to verify the shorts.
* All This and Rabbit Stew and Fresh Hare do have known restored prints even though they haven't been released as such on home media

Here's a list of Bugs Bunny shorts by their restoration status and their home media status as a progress report on my website project involving filters for the shorts list. 108 Bugs Bunny shorts out of 171 has been on Blu-ray as of currently.

It is also worth noting that Collector's Vault Disc One appears to list "Double or Mutton" as one of the shorts, even though it's already on Collector's Choice Volume 4! Hopefully this is an error; it's probably intended for "A Sheep in the Deep".

Only 3 correct not from the cover

Wow I'm bad at guessing; comparing my predictions for Looney Tunes Collector's Vault with the actual ones on the right.

Seems like Double or Mutton is there again as a double dip. Hopefully it's accidental and it doesn't make it to the final release. Otherwise, very good list here.

Next up is just finishing the home media pages altogether

These scores are automatically calculated and does change when more volumes get released. Strive for Blu-ray over DVD any day.

Another progress report on the restoration guide website: Recommendation Scores! The scale aims to try to judge how valuable a set is for collectors based on select criteria, such as being upgrade prints and if there's no better version. Now you know to avoid the double dips at all costs.
