Not just kids goggles. At least once a week I see adults ask the lifeguard at my pool if their goggles have been handed in. They then pretend to go through the box until they “find” their goggles.

Laughed out loud on the train home reading this. Instead of the usual tutting a fellow commuter asked me which bit I just laughed at and 3 people agreed when I told them. Great book.

Second that. We went to our local branch to buy a sound bar having already decided what to buy. Half an hour later we left with the item recommended by a member of staff, 15% cheaper than the original. Excellent service.

Why?
