What a horrible woman to willingly inflict so much suffering on her own child. This is beyond ignorance, or religious beliefs, this is staggering cruelty. She should be imprisoned for attempted manslaughter.

If the intent is to get something off your chest, then write it in a diary.
You don't need everyone around you to know you've got mental health issues, and that's the only message anyone looking at this house gets.
It does not help any cause to be associated with such individuals either.

I remember my design team being shouted out by a client because a line was rendering 1px out on their (old, outdated, rarely used) browser. Now design teams are getting away with this? WTF.

If the intent is to change minds towards your cause, signs like these won't do it. Few will read signs like these, and their message is too easily written off.
I can't read them, so I won't defend them, but either way they're pointless if they're not effective, and they're not effective.

Sure average people who work in aircon and don't exercise much, don't need them, but those who work outside, especially in very hot or humid places (like much of Australia) benefit. You feel sick if you only drink water trying to rehydrate.
Perhaps those people don't count?

Interesting chat with my boomer, LNP voting mum today. She was very unhappy with what they did to Sussan Ley and quoted Turnbull about Taylor being a qualified idiot. Not sure she knew much about him before, but that's what she knows about him now.

I am loving how supportive many of the athletes and commentators are in these games. Seems to be a feature of extreme sports?
A nice reprieve from everything else.

They should be demanding the resignations of both Albo and Minns.

That was me the other day! Tbf I'm not from NSW.

Thank you. It's nice to see any politicians representing the views of actual Australians and not just their own interests, or worse, the interests of foreign powers.
Albo & Minns have amply demonstrated that they are ill equipped to lead us through these times. They should resign in disgrace.

To butt in, I would love to see a new progressive party formed with key climate200 independents among others and some key greens who have proven themselves to be more serious. There are so many people completely unrepresented atm.

We need to start calling for Albo's resignation. Minns too. They invited this, they incited this. They own it. Time to take some responsibility for this appalling decision.
10.02.2026 00:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Exactly. Why are we letting Albo off the hook? He bought this on. He needs to take responsibility and resign. Minns too.
10.02.2026 00:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
I am so angry. I've never reached out to so many politicians and will keep going every chance I get. Albo needs to take responsibility for inciting this violence, and resign. Minns needs to go too. How dare they deny us our voices over the hateful voice of a genocidal leader from another country!
09.02.2026 21:43 β π 12 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0
Minns, Albo, the Labor party, they've shown us who they stand with and it's not the people they represent. Absolutely disgraceful.

It's so weird. Let actual antisemitic groups gather and express their views, but crack down on reasonable criticism of the actions a country's government takes!?

Don't forget Albo. This is on him too.
09.02.2026 20:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Blame must absolutely fall on Minns, but don't forget Albo. He invited this violence to our shores.
09.02.2026 19:57 β π 12 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0
Albo is a fraud concerned only with obtaining power and enriching himself.
What is most disappointing tho, is the failure of Australian Labor members and representatives to demand his resignation.
He has no vision, no plan for addressing any of our pressing challenges and no spine. Albo must go.
09.02.2026 11:05 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0
This is @albomp.bsky.social fault, and he needs to resign in disgrace. How dare he invite this to our shores.
I urge everyone commenting to contact your MP, and Albo and let him know how you feel.

I agree most use cases for AI implementation are niche & narrow. I'm not sure how valuable a lot of it is for consumers, we'll find out when they have to pay, but many businesses will find uses beyond data crunching. All new tech changes the job landscape. Typing pools don't exist anymore do they?
08.02.2026 05:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
LLMs are one form of AI, and I agree many consumer tools have been disappointing. That does not mean all AI is bad or worthless. Enterprise level support is a great example of where AI enabled agents are able to handle 80% of requests - that is transformative. I won't defend the OTT investments tho.
08.02.2026 05:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
I share concerns that current implementations of AI technology (and cryptocurrencies) are wasting precious resources. Government regulation is needed to curtail its impacts. A secondary benefit might be that limiting its use would prevent wasting compute on generating slop.
07.02.2026 20:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
It's unfortunate that slop creation engines are what most people think AI is, because of course it is more than that, and will be transformative (for better and worse).
I worry many will miss exploring the depths of its usefulness due to the current poor application of the technology.

I wrote to my local (Labor) MP and got a response that indicated they did not agree with the visit and had raised it with Albo.
His decision has only cemented my belief that @albomp.bsky.social is a pathetic fraud of a man completely unsuited to leading Australia at this time.

I am sure it will be the constant double standards that will increase, and drive, antisemitism in this country.
05.02.2026 09:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
What's crazy is the people most concerned with a wealthy elite running things in the shadows, effectively votes for them to do exactly that.
04.02.2026 22:47 β π 3 π 2 π¬ 0 π 1
It is unbelievably naive of Labor. The blatant double standards that are being applied to Israeli war mongers are going to increase division and make Jewish Australians feel a whole lot less safe in the long run. Why can't our politicians learn from the failures of the American moderates?
