I'm so glad I moved to Colin's plot. I didn't realise how lonely I was before.
He comes every morning and after he's fed me he stays and does work on the plot. I think Maurine has been going to Sammy's plot for his meals. I think he will love it there.
We are both very happy cats.

I can see my Dad now mixing icing sugar and egg white then adding tiny drops of colour. He would make his bags from greaseproof paper and and delicately pipe a design.

That’s wonderful news. You must be so proud. About time good things came your way. Not a marzipan fan as such but such memories of the Christmas cakes baked by Mum, covered with marzipan and iced by Dad who trained at Fortnum’s.

Sounds very like menopause issues from what I recall. Mine was early following a hysterectomy at the wonderful Benenden Hosp. Was yonks ago but do recall the menopause being brutal. Add to the that the extreme stress of your Mum’s situation and your job. Try to see a female GP or specialist nurse?
