Im shocked by the court, but it also makes me suspicious that perhaps there is an even more insidious case climbing through the courts now. Im hesitant to believe that they would just no comment and move on in defense of gay rights.....

You also said, "repeating the same word from....pandering."

I do not believe that the writers of the article clarified the definition of "clearly" and I DO believe that they used the word to pander.

Staying home doesnt hurt anyone. You dont have to win a percentage of the vote equal to a percentage of the population, you have to win a percentage of the vote.

Fewer voters, means less campaigning. Campaign managers LOVE non-voters.

Getting republicans to make a verbal agreement to vote on something is also not a win:

A. They are liars and may decide not to have a vote.

B. They can just vote no.

Its a scientific term, but this is not a scientific publication and the audience is not scientifically literate. The audience will interpret this as meaning, "a fuzzy, but existing connection." They will not interpret this as, "there is not enough evidence to make a causal claim."

Also prenups and maybe dont marry someone who "chooses not to work." Of course I know this is not a good faith argument from Toyota Corolla, but nonetheless...

You literally quit fighting. And you didn't even really need to fight. You just needed to not cave. Literally, you just needed to do nothing and yet you managed to get it wrong.

Twitter didn't start as a virulent hellscape. Its kind of like when grandpa gets brain cancer and turns into a racist monster.

I tried to replay it a few years ago. Unfortunately I found it unplayable. I was OBSESSSED when it came out and I would murder for a remake, but it was definitely an exceedingly ambitious product of its time.

I work in the public sector. It is a shame that popular politics has obscured the work of dedicated, diligent, good, well intentioned government employees. Thats why local elections matter so much. Its amazing what can be done with just a few engaged individuals.

My least favorite thing about corporate culture is executives wanting details and then complaining when things are too detailed.

"I need an executive level summary with all of the details, but no more than one page, and it all needs to be in the form of a picture that I can immediately understand!"
