Yours is a rare view on here (but IMO completely accurate).

This team & the make up of the players within it is so one dimensional. We struggle to create real quality chances & don’t have the required cutting edge to finish them.

We’re a hard watch and will struggle again without more goal threat.

That press conf is a reality check to many fans who have over inflated expectations this season IMO.

I listened to this when they mentioned that phrase and they mean it as in it being a) costly and b) for a more marquee name which I guess Grealish fits both these categories.

Pitch at BMD is currently too slow as the grass is very dense. Getting them to sort it out ahead of new season.

Currently I want us to get enough in of a decent enough quality to ensure we are nowhere near trouble.

My opinion the evidence of the last season or 2 which most of this squad have been part of.

Our strength has been being compact and difficult to score against keeping goals conceded low because the creative side of the game is beyond us with the lack of quality we have offensively.

So we’re kind of stuck in this weird inertia then I guess.

We can only improve with better quality players though.

If we have specific targets we really want it may be we have to force the matter with extra £ for 1 or 2 of them we can considering we can’t offer Europe? 🤷🏻‍♂️
