Which is what I’m saying. Zuck and Musk have bent the knee and their platforms reflect that. Congress went all “RAWR TIK TOK BAD!” because it allowed unapproved narratives. The sale was supposed to bring the narrative back in line. Textbook ‘manufacturing consent.’

Unless Trump gains control of the algo I don’t see how that’s possible. That was the purpose of pushing the sale that so far tik tok has rejected.

From a comms perspective, don’t you think that ‘saving’ tik tok is one of the dumbest things he could possibly do? It wasn’t banned because of security, it was banned because it bred dissent. Unless tik tok likes his pockets somehow, I don’t see a good motive here.
