I asked my younger daughter to help with organizing my recipe binder that has become a bit unruly. It needs updating too with recipes we are eating more often now but haven’t been included so far. She is also considering buying the floss for a cross stitch I want to begin but don’t have organized.

I like cuff down better though I can do both so I don’t mind how a designer decides to begin. The reason I like top down is because by the end of a sock when I’m about to lose interest or get busy or have other projects that need attention, knitting half a piece as just stockinette is so fast!

Do it! I love using DPNs more than circular, but if I’m traveling, then it’s circular all the way so I’m less likely to have to stop a project due to a dropped needle. It’s nearly December 1, what a perfect start date for a new pair of socks, even with the little bit o’ cussing.
