This bind off is new to me and I may want to try it with my next project.

#knitting a project I had put away years ago. With a few babies on the way for friends of ours, I thought I’d finish this one up. Of course I don’t know if anyone is having a girl, but this color is making me happy and I’m enjoying this Orange You Glad pattern by Lorraine F. Hickey. Great texture!🧶

I think word limits on the social media apps & paywalls on many news articles contributes too-so sound bites encouraged.

For movies, I enjoy matinees midweek; I can still see recent release but not deal with crowds. I rarely do that though, preferring watch w/ family so adapting to their schedule.

I don’t necessarily have a short attention span, but when I have to take care of kids or elderly, I prefer a book w/shorter chapters so I can reengage w/the material easier after an interruption. Some of my reading opportunities require safety be prioritized. I like long and short books. 📚

That’s a great idea to make a wearable and really be able to appreciate the flow and beauty of those squares. I love crocheted trim on my clothes and so does my daughter.

I wonder if they were making a tablecloth or bedspread. What a treasure.

Just keep taking it one step at a time - this was a great first one and I hope that you get some answers to this minor bit persistent situation.

I think it might look nice with two color socks, the other being a solid to break up all of that color. The pauses would make the various colors there shine even more vividly as sometimes sour brain and eyes need a visual space for a break.

I can’t imagine the display holding up in an area where earthquakes or there are sonic booms from space craft reentry. I’d hate having to untangle all of those if that fell. It is a work of art in itself though!

Also, I love to be in reading challenged and this has a lot of people offering various ones to track progress within them - even more popular ones like PopSugar for example, or celebrity ones.

I hope you enjoy the graphs. I like it for buddy reads. We can each read a book in our preferred format and talk about a section that is hidden from other reader until they log that they’ve reached that part in their reading. I love the graphs for all of the stats! Free but a paid option available.

I believe nurses want 25% wage & that reqs pt costs increase.

When step increases & local adjustments are factored, total average wage increase is approx 30%!

Ooh, I’ve seen The Ten Thousand Doors of January, but not in my queue—feeling I may enjoy it more in fall. I was reading a lot of contenders for the Newbery Honor recently. But I also want to read a few novels before they become movies.

I think this is the sign I needed to pick up my needles and continue the sock I started over the weekend.

I think it’s awesome you’re sketching when you lack motivation for painting. I’m switching among fiber art projects, but it’s more due to working around injuries & poor lighting situations than motivation. But I get it about the motivation as I tend to get knitting jags & haven’t painted since Nov.
