No trans person is going to thrive under Trump. On the other hand, leading with this issue when there are so many others that will resonate with voters more strongly is foolish. Stick with the economy, equal rights for all and a woman's right to choose, etc. If we win, the rest takes care of itself.

My second point is that there are a galaxy of issues that are important to the American people. We must be careful what we choose. If we win in 2026 and take the Presidency in 2028, all the marginalized people will again have a voice. If you call smart politics "political expediency" so be it.

Your deductive powers border on ESP as I said or implied nothing of the kind. I believe in equal rights for all. Ms. Clymer attacked Tom Nichols for not advocating for an issue which was not the subject of his article. That was my first point.

I am a classic Roosevelt liberal and historian (WWII and Civil War). I find the general lack of knowledge about history here to be disappointing. Not unexpected.

I listen to intelligent thought. Read the article. Not sure I agree with Tom on cursing but it's hard to see how trans rights apply to what he said. I support just about anyone who opposes Trump.

This is an example of why Progressives cost Democrats elections. Tom gets to choose what he writes about and you rip him for not discussing something unrelated and off his topic. This is a sad but persistent habit of certain liberals. It is a losing play. Pontificate elsewhere. Dear God, indeed.

So here is one of the places I'm going in two weeks for a photo shoot. This is Mt. Shasta which is about 30 miles or so from the Oregon Border. It's obviously a volcano but it has not erupted for 10,000 years.

How many times does someone with a grip have to say that polygraphs are bogus, unreliable and inadmissible in court. They are a fantasy and do more harm than good. There is a literal industry to keep this lie afloat even though there is no proof the method works. Nevertheless, here we are again.

These two lovers were the model for their 3 children's lives and all of us were able to find spouses that allowed us to have what they had: A partner for a life full of shared adventure and interesting people. They showed the way and we miss them still.

Ma and Pa: my parents. Dad worked for an oil tool company and was transferred to Houston at the end of his career. They made the best of it and traveled Texas and the South in their van camper. As soon as he retired they moved to Carlsbad, CA and lived out their days traveling the world from there.

Ha. Corruption is in the local DNA it seems. Texas never seems to draw the line on outrageous politics but sometimes on moral issues. M&P lived in Texas so I got a close look at the local scene. Paxton breaks the boundaries but unfortunately Trump has changed the acceptance level for bad behavior.
