Satellite measures river flow waves for the first time The researchers assessed waves on the Colorado River in Texas, the Ocmulgee River in Georgia and the Yellowstone River in Montana.

Using satellite, @geoallen.bsky.social and Hana Thurman measured a 166-mile-long river wave on the Colorado River.

With NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, they also measured waves on Yellowstone + Ocmulgee Rivers.
