Yay! Just booked our summer hols - going back to house we visited in the spring last year - fully adapted, lift, wheel in shower, hoist, even the cooker and sink is accessible. Middle of the Ardennes forest for a whole week in August. Day trips to Germany and France. Peaceful & beautiful.

A family came to view my house yesterday & brought a pair of seniors. My ring doorbell shows the older man calling over his son & being visibly concerned at a gravestone in the front garden, apparently not realising it was a Halloween prop. He was saying 'it will have to be moved, it's not legal.'

Kids had an old pc I put Linux on and used it to Skype grandparents. Only way the usb speaker would work was to write a bastard batch script and have it run during startup. Absolute bollocks.

Was a real shock when I moved to PCs from Amigas that stuff didn't just work out of the box.
