Yuzu went as a ghost for Halloween this year.

Today is two years since I picked up Yuzu.

It's been nearly four months since she died.

I'm never going to be okay again. :(

We had surgery on Monday to remove a lymph node that was cancerous. Now she's having other lymph nodes swell and they think her cancer is back.

We're at the vet for stopgap chemo until our oncologist is back next Thursday. 😮‍💨

It's swollen to the size of like maybe a grapefruit? It's huge and awful and is making things hard for her.

The last few chemo treatments had very little (if any) effect for our sweet Yuzu.

Our most recent treatment, however, has suddenly worked several days later. Yuzu's left abdominal lymph node has been swollen and scary almost the entire time, and seeing such a change is heartening!

Little Yuzu update:

We typically do chemo on Wednesday or Thursday, but we got moved up to Monday this week.

Yuzu's swelling has started coming back, so we're getting treatment started earlier this week. Once we get in today, we'll know a little more.
