Every time I feel that just maybe Reform won't get there way & wreck the UK anymore than they have... and then another friend or someone I know will start talking politics & I'm back to thinking this country is fucked.
It's not even a case of a warning from the past as this is just MAGA-UK.

The Stock Market will crash as it has long since had anything to do with the economy of whatever country it is in... if Ai fails then people will get their jobs back and the real economy will recover if not boom.

My heart breaks for my American friends across the pond, their alternative to the Republicans is a return to the same mistakes that led to Trump and Project 2025.

What scares me as a Brit the other side of the pond, is that Brexit means we no longer have the EU protecting us from a lot of America's low food standards coming to our shores.

The problem is most people will only hear the 'questioning' part and not see anything wrong with that, only to then show no interest to who is asking those questions and their motives.
It worked with us trans people & it can work with abortion rights as it only takes a few people in power.

For the first time in many a year I used the men's toilets.🙄
Actually the pub had a communal room with 4 identical cubicles only 2 marked male & 2 female. 1 disabled.
I was desperate so jumped the que by going in the male one. This is something women have always done & laws won't stop.
Nobody cared.

Is this factual is the low bar all media should be forced to abide by or be pulled.
How you stop media becoming captured by extreme right view is another more complex issue but just holding them to the facts would be a start.

The frustration is that a cure is some quick surgery but getting to that point is just delay after delay.

Train trip to Nuffield Hospital in Wimbledon, not been there before so I'll make it a bit of a day out.

For those who don't know, after 13 happy years I'm having problems with my surgery with some bleeding from granulation that refuses to heal. I stay positive but after a year it can be tough. From gym & indoor climbing to planning how much a walk is going to cost in pain & blood.

Consult with Tina Rashid tomorrow about solutions to my bleeding. Trying to not get my hopes up to much as I've had them dashed for over a year now looking for solutions.
She is though my best hope right now so going to go in positive with lots of questions. x

Terms like pregnant person came about to be more inclusive for people like trans men who can still give birth, it was in no way meant to replace pregnant woman just add to the options.
It's just another version of the lie that if you give rights to one then another must be losing out.

As trans person I couldn't but notice this guy was like a blueprint of every transphobe & their tactics I have ever known.
