We’re strongest when we’re united. So we must protect the things that bring us together — like CBC/Radio-Canada.

The problem is theirs to solve. Stop putting people in leadership who reflect a vibe and ideology that most of Canada does not want. Don’t blame Canadians. Blame yourselves for why you’re not in power.

Things that make me mad: Sportsnet’s refusal to promote the CFL because they don’t air it. The CFL’s ineptitude in capitalizing on a resurgent patriotism. The CFL’s slowness in finding a new commish. Canadians who don’t support the CFL, especially these days. #CFL Arash should be new commish.

I think aligning it with just war is overthinking it. Again, Mike Myers. Canadian. Like beating the Americans in hockey and soccer. And prayerfully we hope it doesn’t have to go as far as just war.

Canada first is always verging on blasphemy. Elbows up, especially as it was made famous by a CDN comedian on American TV, has a very different vibe. It’s the industrial beaver reminding the eagle we’re here, we’re funny, and our we’re going to keep being here.
