I second this. Making an evil version of a public domain character is just extremely unimaginative! People who think taking Winnie The Pooh and turning him into a serial killer is cool, just never grew out of their awful Teenage selves, and it shows.

Why people can’t make nice fun things with the public domain is beyond me.

Case in point, my character, The Goof, is a legacy hero of my favorite public domain character Funnyman. She’s full of whimsy.

When I picked up the loose $15 Mr. Sinister the other day, I knew the head was gonna be for a Ditko kid. Then I remembered I had Darkhawk and how perfect that would look as well as how eyeball like it looks in this context. I also vaguely remember Evil Eye being another villain I had for Super-Eye
