This was a terrific episode of Flux. Great to have Mary Seacole and the mystery of Sontarans in history. Only two things make me wince: the chocolate scene, and the casting of Dan’s parents being slightly older than John Bishop-although I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t read it, and they were great!

Watching Doctor Who’s Ambassadors of Death made in 1970, but set a few years in the future. There is a note on the Blu-ray subtitles about a shot that was cut of a sign that said “War Department”. Perhaps because some things are too stupid even for a sci-fi series from decades ago.
