Anyway maybe I’ll be back to posting here with some regularity about #sports because Dan Wilson’s managerial ineptitude has really brought something out of me. But I was saying he was the wrong guy for the job the second it was handed to him on a silver platter, no matter what the numbers say.

The Mariners were 8 outs away from the pennant and Dan never once thought to get Andres Munoz warm with a lead. And then he brings him in AFTER they give up the lead. Idiotic and indefensible.

Coming on here for the first time in months to say what Dan Wilson did to the Mariners last night in Game 7 should make him fireable, but they won’t. It’s bad enough when the majority of your hitters aren’t executing, but the manager shoulders half the blame for his abysmal bullpen management.

I don’t think the Sharks will any good next season, but I think by the ‘26-27 season they can be challenging for a wild card spot, and be competing for the division in ‘27-28. The growth from last season to this one alone has been very, very good (despite what the results say).
