US needs to recognise that Russia and China are tight allies. It is highly likely US will be in a conflict with Russia and/or China in the next few years. So Ukraine is doing the US a huge favour by weakening Russia. And China will be watching to see Russian success before invading Taiwan.

Russia controls 19% of Ukraine territory after 3 years and over 1500 casualties per day. And it’s suffering from stagnation: 13% inflation (25% food inflation), 21% interest rates, and declining GDP.

So Trump needs to stop emboldening Putin and EU needs to gain confidence that it can win.

Russia is NOT winning the war. They’ve barely moved over the 3 years.

When Trump says Ukraine has no cards, he doesn’t understand the will of the people to retain sovereignty and defeat a foreign invader. Look at US in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. They didn’t have cards either…

Of course, I do agree that the Torys are the losers. I left the Conservatives for the Lib Dems because I’m pro-EU, pro-Ukraine, pro-increased national defence and anti-Trump/Musk/Vance.

The Torys are too busy chasing Reform votes… so have lost long standing members like me.

Self-fulfilling prophecy. While it’s right to point out the trend… we are actually adding to Reform’s momentum by giving Farage a disproportionate amount of coverage.

I don’t see coverage at on the Lib Dem’s despite their strong gains and unique messages on EU and Trump.

Watching UK news coverage over the last 24 hours, one would think Farage's Reform party had taken over the Conservatives as the 2nd largest party in local government.

In reality, Reform are 5th, coming some distance behind the Greens.

Lib Dems gained over 160 Councillor seats… 370 total! 💛💛💛

Trump just announced tariffs of 245% on Chinese imports, a dramatic escalation to the ongoing trade war.

Might as well make it 1000% at this point as trade is definitely now dead between US and China.

This is a childish move that does nothing to improve the global economy, stability or security.

Is Trump creating concentration camps in El Salvador?

Trump told the President of El Salvador that he’s gonna need to build about 5 new prisons in El Salvador… because the “homegrown” criminals from US are next.

Is that with or without due process?

Trump is showing his true colours. He sold billions in weapons to the Saudis during his first term, yet when an ally under attack from Putin offers to purchase American made weapons… he shuns the sale?

I’m beyond sickened by by Trump’s treatment of Zelenskyy and Ukraine.

How many MAGA loyalists does is take to change a lightbulb?

None. Donald Trump tells them how amazing the new lightbulb is shining, while the MAGA loyalists applaud in the dark.

Economic security and national security are intertwined. By declaring an ill-considered trade war on allies and adversaries alike, Trump is undermining the delicate balance of trade.

I’d like to see UK, EU, Canada, Australia and NZ be more ambitious. Carney, Merz and Macron are leading the way.
