When i interviewed Roger Sargent last week he told me a hilarious story about Swells, the Libertines, and the dominetrix escort the Libertines lived with.

There was definitely a short about a Flea. When i say short...won't spoil the punchline but it was really short.

I saw Empire Strikes Back when it came out but have no memory of Black Angel Maybe went in late

I saw Company of Wolves and Absolute Beginners when they came out and the film was definitely Blue Jean so i'm maybe confusing the two. Was Eric the Flea shown before Life of Brian?

Had a thought when reading @whenisbirths.bsky.social 's book as he mentions the Derek Jarman Smiths film being shown before Sid and Nancy (saw that). What are the best short films only shown at the cinema before a main feature. The Bowie film shown before Absolute Beginners? Python shorts?
