New Jersey says 3 chemical makers agree to 'forever chemical' settlement worth up to $2 billion DuPont and two other companies will pay New Jersey up to $2 billion to settle environmental claims stemming from PFAS, commonly referred to as “forever chemicals.”

$2B is a nice start, but the extent of the damage caused by PFAS is much much higher. DuPont has poisoned the world, and will never be able to pay enough to make up for the damage they have done.
