If you want a 10-12 hour methylphenidate I use Focalin XR and Concerta all the time in my pediatric practice. Usually well-covered by insurance which is often not true for the night-before or super-extended meds.

I’m well aware of research *suggesting* annual boosters may reduce the risk of long COVID. Reasonable people who care about kids can still disagree on this topic and I recommend boosters to my patients but thanks?

There is a reasoned argument to be made that kids without additional Covid risks may not require annual boosters, as Paul Offit and others I respect have argued.

But there should at least be the *option* for parents and pediatricians to boost kids. Parents’ rights or whatevs …
