NB that one looks like a box aimed at robins and wrens, which apparently should be sited about 1m above the ground, preferably in good cover. We've got an RSPB one waiting for me to get round to putting it up behind the holly bush.

I was going to politely point out that the meaning rather differs across (and indeed within!) different parts of the UK too!

I mean as someone who has kids: I'm much more invested in children having parents who *want* to be parents, than in being revered.

If you don't have Owl Babies then I can thoroughly recommend it. Though the counting is considerably more limited.

I guess maybe the reason I hadn't realised sooner is because it doesn't actually apply to me, so I hadn't noticed until seeing headlines last month that it would affect all dual nationals.

It looks like work wear e.g. munitions worker (the period is right) but the scarf/neckerchief and fascinator(?) are a bit of a puzzle.

I'm just pissed off that a) this is actually a sudden rule change for UK dual nationals and b) it's really unclear in all the announcements until you check the details that Irish passports count as local in this case. (Not just that travel to/from Ireland might not be included).
