While I totally understand the aversion to it, particularly when it's associated with near disaster, I'm with you. But perhaps eating it every day for a month might not be a good idea for a type 2 diabetic even in near remission. Quite tempted to buy *one* bar now though.

These takes always conflate two very different types of safety. The danger of not being very good at riding a bike is that you might fall off & graze your knee, or if very unlucky, break a bone. The danger of sharing the road with cars is that someone might kill you because they're texting.

I find it a bit scary that I've never driven except with a driving instructor, I've had 4 hours of refresher lessons since I passed my test over 10 years ago, but if I wanted to I could drive a hire car tomorrow.

I "only" have diabetes and got my free flu jab on Friday and expensive covid one today.

My mum is over 65, hss type 2 diabetes and a heart condition, and was seriously set back in her recovery thefirst time she got covid, and is no longer eligible to be vaccinated on the NHS. Luckily she can afford the private cost, but she shouldn't have to!

WTF? What on earth was wrong with your eticket? (Or was it just a confirmation, not the ticket itself? I don't know why sometimes that's the only purchase option online)
