For today's #ManicMonday the wheel of choice selected 2001's Know Your Enemy. I think this album gets a bit of a rough rep because it wasn't the "call back" to early manics some folks were hoping for. Found that Soul is a banger though. Happy Monday folks 🙂

The first cassette to be converted is my grandparents' memories of world war 2. Been reminded that my granddad's aunt used to give her farm eggs to the nearby airmen, including the Dambusters

Brazen refusal to obey. In later peacetime life, not the best impulse. But it had saved her many times

If I hadn't already, I have definitely borked my algorithm with #RRHOF entry 161. Accidentally listened to the acapella version of the Black Album and it took me 7 tracks to work out it wasn't actually an experimental slam poetry album 🙄

I once tried to have a serious, non-judgy conversation with my mother in an attempt to understand what her concerns were in case I'd missed something. Had to walk away when she said she sleeps better knowing the EU isn't involved anymore.
