07.10.2025 17:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A determined little dog stood up on his own power, scanning the car park for his car so the loyal butler can take him home & shower him in soft food treats - the dental check up was all good!
πΎ Huge celebrations here as His Tiny Highness trotted across the vet (just a dental check) carpark ALL BY HIMSELF - only a few hundred yards of plentiful stumbles & trips, but this little sausage managed it! From back legs disabled in March to wobbling steps in October - hurray!

06.10.2025 20:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How fab to have a collection of holiday memories with you when doing the washing up! No idea how they get so wrecked, I swear little creatures nibble holes in them when we aren't looking - all the old ones are now in the rag pile for messy jobs & look like they've always been there! π
06.10.2025 20:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A little fluffy robin, beak open to shout, sat on the arm of a dark painted garden bench.
β¨ In humble offering to the utter delight that is #smallbeautieshour is this gloriously rotund robin shouting his dinner order whilst perched out on the garden bench - bird feeders duly refilled so he can return to singing between snacking!
06.10.2025 19:09 β π 139 π 8 π¬ 0 π 0π For those who might just so fancy making some tasty apple butter for to fill their own pantry shelves & tidy away storm shaken apples, this is the favourite tiny terrace recipe but the latest batch used honey in place of maple syrup & still tastes deliciously richly sweet...
06.10.2025 17:51 β π 24 π 5 π¬ 3 π 0Four pictures, the first a little sausage dog admist quilts & blankets with fur shining in the sun, next very pale pinky lavender wool skeins draped over a garden bench, next a paper frill topped jar of apple butter held up next to the apple tree it came from, last a lost Yorkshire lass in a big IKEA warehouse looking rather frazzled indeed!
π Snippets from a snail slow life - His Tiny Highness gleaming in the early morning sun; the slightly disappointingly pale results of dyeing wool with fermented wild cherries; jars of slow cooker apple butter made with storm windfalls from the garden; lost in IKEA warehouse...

π Hurrah for Sunday Snailday once again & with fierce storm weather being wet & wild without, the wish for all good folk is may you be nestled in colsie snug shelter all safe from wind & rain, able to adventure out in the calm for to see the breathtaking beauty of the season...
