This move could really impact low-income Ohioans. If this freeze extends to programs like SNAP, Child Care, and other public benefits programs, it could cut off access to people's ability to have their basic needs met.
There's still a lot we don't know, but this is genuinely a big deal.

Those are public funds going to unaccountable, often religious institutions that donβt have to adhere to the ADA.

Under the proposal, all state lawmakers, judges, county officials, and township trustees would see their annual pay increase in each of the next four years rise from 1.75% to 5%.
There are 3 different bills dying in the Statehouse that would raise #Ohio's minimum wage by just a few dollars

Many Ohioans continue to struggle with prices elevated by rapid inflation that peaked in mid-2022.
Prices are now rising at a normal pace, but remain high because current inflation compounds on top of the inflation surge that peaked at 9% in 2022.

Pursuing health doesnβt always equate to losing weight and when the only thing that counts as success is going down clothing sizes, health and longevity clearly arenβt the goal.
One study found that most surveyed would shave years off their life or lose a limb to be thin.
