A bit of T rex..."We love tabboulleh, jitterbug boulleh, we love tabboulleh, on a Saturday night...". Almost worth starting up a Tabboulleh marketing board just to use this.

Forever fascinated by how things work and spending most of my days working on Soundscape https://scottish-tech-army.github.io/Soundscape-Android/. Music, family and geography with some clothes making thrown in.

The difference in the amount of time spent on the course is huge - after 97 hours the fastest has been out for 73.5 hours vs 87.5 hours for the slowest. Either could still win, but there's 14 hours of possible rest between them which must count.

What I find most astonishing is that some were looking totally exhausted 6 hours ago and they're still going having run a marathon in that time.
22.10.2025 13:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is a great piece. I always loved music but would never have cut it as a musician. However, I was good at engineering and so I forged a career writing audio software. Everyone I worked with loved music and we sold our products to musicians who we loved. In the end I loved software too, so lucky!

15.10.2025 06:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Meta glasses are very popular with visually impaired users who are able to afford them. The camera can either stream what's in front of them to an assistant or to AI to describe. Then the built in speakers can play it back along with other app audio e.g. Soundscape.

That's brilliant! Is Nello in there? I think his clown egg was mentioned in the film Marvellous.
23.08.2025 20:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've been working with some people with visual impairment recently and they love smart glasses. I gave the Microsoft Seeing AI app a go and I can absolutely understand why. Well worth a quick download. For anyone else, absolutely get in the bin.

I'm now imagining larger self drive trucks pulling trains of caravans - solar powered and always moving.
Worthh waiting for the brilliant helicopter at the end!
