I’m curious what makes them chewy? I have a recipe for a chewy one and it uses bread flour for that.

First attempt at roll out had issues but second was fine (I coached - lots of experience with dough).

Today I read entire stories (that I appreciated) about Trump trying to get UCLA pay that much for less than half the amount and return, and the US trying to destroy a satellite that collects CO2 data.

We brought on 2 dev interns that did great - even achieved stretch goals - and we have zero positions open. This pisses me off as a mom.

I just invited my cat (who was sitting across the room) to finish my cereal milk. The cat listened to me then got up to drink it. Probably contextual guess but still cool!

A thing I have been thinking about today: I am a big fish in a small pond. I always end up here. It’s how I’m most comfortable. My kids are trying larger ponds. They suck.

Only because I can’t be sure I still have some. Mostly I want everyone to know it’s ok to expect more from your government officials.

It makes me feel less sympathetic.

The funny thing is I bet all those people complaining will still vote Republican.

Completely depends on the recipe to me. I love it in certain things.

Question for Mike Flood: With $450 million being allocated to Alligator Alcatraz, and ICE burning through $8.4 million a day to illegally detain people—How much does it cost for fascism? How much do the tax payers have to pay for a fascist country?

I broke a contact this morning so called the eye doctor for an appointment and the soonest they can get me in with her is the middle of October.

They were such fun outings. It was a neat place!

We used to go to an orchard for apple cider donuts. It was a fun outing - (this was when I lived up north) - felt very fall. If I hated them (I didn’t) I think I’d still want to go.
