I have only one photo of the back of a Ukrainian Chalky and it does not help much.

The best guess I have is just a rectangular tactical marking.

Entirely for fun.
I don't always fancy going nuts but sometimes it is exactly what I want to do 😁

True but I don't think the CCP thinks of the short term. My pessimistic view is that they want to isolate and weaken the USA so that they will do nothing in 2027 when the PRC invades Taiwan.
