First day of ceramics, we each threw a starter pot, then stood in a circle and tossed our wet pots to each other until the collapsed. A lesson in not being attached to what we made, especially since we never knew if a pot would survive through the whole firing process.

Nice! Seems like this would lend itself to becoming freer to experiment once one lets go of the preciousness. I’ve experienced similar “letting go” techniques myself, but with wheel throwing with clay.
