Intestinal organoids are beautiful, but you are so easily distracted from your scientific focus. Now it's been quite a few days just looking at this hypnotic fusion between a mature organoid and a cyst. One of the things I'm wondering about is what's happening to cell identity after fusion.

Sometimes I think about how everything would have evolved in my career if I had not been an LGBT person that had to run away from the family and who always had problems to establish bonds with male influential PIs.

I'm very possibly not talented enough to get an ERC, but it's quite frustrating to be considered by 🇪🇺 an elderly person before my 40s because I decided to go for a risky 2nd postdoc and needed a bit of time to take off.
