I was so grateful to be able to attend this lecture online from across the pond (Canada). I am still processing all the insights and feelings. Simultaneously brilliant, informative, depressing, and frustrating.

I had to stop watching the press conference because it was literally making me sick. When your president can't even pronounce acetaminophen, and the Drs and scientists working for him spew unscientific bullshit and don't seem to know the difference between correlation and causation, you're doomed.

You know who sells folinic acid supplements? Dr. Oz. You know who Dr. Oz works for now? Yeah. You do. Follow the money.

You’re much closer to becoming disabled or homeless than you are to becoming rich and wealthy.

Elon Musk and several of the largest accounts on Twitter are doing everything they possibly can in this moment to focus the violent retribution people are braying for right now towards trans people.

It is IMPERATIVE to be loud ally right now and defend the trans community with our whole chest.

I was interviewed for the U.S. publication WIRED about it.

But English-language Canadian media? Crickets.
