So this happened today. Our little power company (solar cells on the roof) have been going strong since March of 2013.

My favorite example of inflation is vacation rentals. You buy a room with the expectation that you can use it once a year, but they keep selling that room over and over and suddenly there are so many owners that you can’t even book a room a year in advance.

My shorthand for this is to be charming. For me this means insisting on being real. When I show up I will treat you like a human worthy of respect. I will use humor or kindness or whatever tool I have to make your day a little brighter.

People always remember how you made them feel.

And just like that the song is now magically playing in my head.

That’s really a cool hack when you think about it out. You can type words and someone miles away will have a song playing in their mind.

I work in the movie poster biz and you’d be surprised how many people conflate art with commerce. Is it art? Glad you like it, but my metric for success is butts in seats. That’s what they pay me for.
