Alex Bregman to the Cubs is intensifying

Things are heating up in the Arenado sweepstakes. Red Sox and Cardinals are picking up in talks. Nothing close yet

This would also preclude that Alex Bregman is close on a decision. Cubs look like the most likely destination

The Mets are currently considered out on Pete Alonso. Unlikely to return to him

The Jays working with Vlad. Good discussions between both parties to hopefully get something ironed out before spring.

They are in good position for Alonso. I’ve stuck to what I’ve been told in that Alonso will be a Blue Jay. Bregman, if not signed by the Cubs, is a good option to pivot
