What also baffles me is that Democratic Party is ~30 points underwater in favorability & Zohran Mamdani is ~16 points above water in favorability.

The Dem Party establishment, who is responsible for the abysmal rating, is too arrogant to support the guy ~50 points ahead of them. Incredible.

NYC Mayoral Primary was 95 days ago & the general is in 37 days. And Schumer & Jeffries—the two Democratic leaders who should be leading by example—have still REFUSED to endorse the democratic nominee.

Literally the only moment of effective resistance from Dems in this entire administration was Chris Van Hollen finding a way to transform one man’s abduction into a national crisis story, and Democrats learned absolutely nothing from it and never tried it again.

This is one of the best articulations I have seen for why Dem voters should NOT vote for Newsom or any other Dem who refuses to stand up for trans rights (and, for that matter, for any Dem who refuses to stand up on other human rights issues of our times, including Gaza)
