Mowing the lawn this morning reminded me that the smell you notice after cutting the grass is a "distress call."

The grass is reacting as if being eaten and is trying to attract bugs that will attack whatever is eating it.

Somebody needs to go on TV and just call those with strange relationships with the truth what they are - liars. It's rude, crude, lacks decorum, but it's honest and accurate.
