Are you an animal? Do you think of yourself as a creature? Do you call yourself a beast? Names have two aspects: external identifiers which are used by others and internal identifiers which you use to refer to yourself. Congurency between the two­­ - when others think of you in the same way you think of yourself - is empowering. Wolf, coyote, tiger, elk, fox, doe. Do any of these words >feel< like you? Do your ears prick up when you hear them spoken?

(Yes, we can see your ears) You are already accepting an animal name as your own. A therionym. Ask the critters around you to call you by your animal name. Feel acknowledgem-ent spread over your pelt like warm sunlight. You are being Seen. Through this, and every moment just like this your true nature is being Observed. Likewise, by using your packmember's therionyms you hypostatize their animal forms. A feedback loop will grow between you.

This is a kind of power even humans take notice of. The invisible threads of our reality, our context, are made plainly audible. It is up to you whether your therionym is a nick-name, a parallel truename, or even becomes part of a legal name. i've seen ideas being tossed around about a poc focused/specific con, too. i hope both of these things come to pass!

The main issue is that they're coming into a community that was made specifically with endos in mind and getting mad when they see endos. and posting about being mad in the tags.

Most endos don't claim to have any dissociative disorder, that they just have a sense of plurality.

It's very old and very heated discourse and more complicated than what i can put in here

generally means a sense of plurality/multiple people in one mind that is NOT caused by trauma, as opposed to traumagenic (plurality caused by trauma)

Anti-endos believe that a sense of plurality can only come from dissociative disorders. They think that endos are faking DID/OSDD/CDDs

I also have the tags filtered, but I am very curious and take peaks against my better judgment. I guess I can't be too mad since I could very well keep my nose clean. Still annoying, though. Hoping they'll get bored after a few weeks and shut up.

i've been blocking them as i see them. i guess its because of some tiktok exodus but i'm getting ghost likes (liking on accident while they're on the way to block me) on comments i made a year ago about the topic on small posts.

its just... baffling.

there has been a large uptick in anti-endo alterhumans on tumblr. i don't usually care too much, but they're dragging their discourse into the otherkin/therian/nonhuman tags and its quite annoying. i don't care if you argue, but there are syscourse tags for a reason.

Let Me In is a poem about creaturely intimacy, consent, and grief, written from my therian perspective. The “dog” in this poem is metaphor — a way of moving through the world that is embodied, relational, and non-hierarchical. The language of fur, breath, and instinct is used to explore trust, safety, and being seen without translation. This work is about right-ordered love: affection without domination, closeness without ownership, intimacy that does not exploit or consume. It resists turning love into a false god, and instead treats both partners as equals within creation. The poem also nholds grief—the loneliness of finding and losing a love that cannot be easily named or explained, and the ache of carrying tenderness in a world that misunderstands it. It is creaturely, devotional, and unashamed.

a post of mine talking abt the tumblr archive got a negative comment that said im "not even that well-known in this community" and i give these comments little attention but like. what does my popularly have to do with anything. just a weird thing to add.
