Lately, I’ve been winding down my days with gouache painting, when it’s too dark to do commission work. It’s been such a joy to simply play. I’m keeping it loose, focusing on simple shapes and not expecting too much, just learning to feel comfortable with the brush and medium.

I saved the best pebble for you.

Another play with Copics, ink and pencils. I’m finally team capybara after watching Flow the other night.

I’ve always loved croissants, but drawing one felt impossible! I used pastels for softness and coloured pencils for texture, capturing all the flaky, buttery goodness. It wasn’t easy, but I’m so glad I stuck with it.
