The guy that owns that place comes across as a guy that would do this. Used to own Riley’s Cattle Barn in Okotoks as well which failed. It had the worst service I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. This doesn’t surprise me, just a selfish cash grab that I’m sure goes directly to him.

If a president wanted to become effectively a dictator, he’d likely:

1. Purge govt of non loyalists
2. Weaponize law against opponents
3. Use military to police opposition strongholds
4. Threaten media, schools, businesses w penalties to get them to heel
5. Change election rules in his favor.

Thought: people in the US aren’t fighting back hard enough against Trump’s fascist regime because they are more worried about putting food on the table for their family. A huge number of the population is struggling to get by. Family first. Fight fascists second. It’s the perfect storm.
